Barrister Tanvir Hashem Munim is the Head of the Chambers at ‘Munim and Associates’. He obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of London after completing Diploma in Law from the same University. He then obtained his post graduate diploma in law (PGDL) in ‘legal professional skills’ from the City University, London and finished his Bar Vocational Course from City Law School, City University, London. Thereafter, in 2009, he was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Lincoln’s Inn and became a Barrister. Barrister Munim is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He is a member of the ‘Anti-Corruption Committee’ and the ‘Asia Pacific Regional Forum’ of the International Bar Association. He is also a member of Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association, Bangladesh Bar Council and General Council of The Bar of England and Wales. Further, he is a member of Chittagong District Bar Association and Chittagong Income Taxes Bar. He is a contributor to the World Bank Group and Counsel of the International Crimes Tribunal, Bangladesh.
Barrister Munim is a regular practitioner in the courts of Bangladesh. His specialization includes, amongst other, critical Cross Border Investment Issues, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Judicial Review, Diplomatic Law, Domestic and International Sales, Procurement and Supply Laws, International Criminal Law, Admiralty Law, Corporate and Business Laws, Trade and Project Financings. Barrister Munim enjoys lecturing on law and is a guest lecturer of some Universities. He also lectured part time at the University of London, International Programme in London, UK.
